I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Britflicks Stuart Wright about my films and stuff. It was a most pleasant experience so I thought I would share it with you all. So check out the link below.
So what has been going on in Brown town over the last couple of months? Plenty and nothing. Or plenty leading to no progress. That's a little harsh but that's how it feels. Coldfall is currently in stasis. for various reasons, mainly money, we decided it was a good idea to put the project back a bit until we have enough in our drawer to get the finance to do the film justice. This was a very sad and frustrating decision to make as it feels like we've been slogging away on it for years now. On the plus side the work done since James Rumsey came on board as director was positive enough to show that he and I worked well together. So we have decided to make a micro-budget feature together by the name of Black John. A nasty but elegant little thriller about the extreme lengths people will go to for the things they want.
Of my other projects Heckle came to fruition at the Cannes film festival. It was pretty well received but is a way off readiness. The feedback said as much and my own feelings fell in line with said feedback. It is currently in post-Cannes post-production and so with a few tweaks it will be a nice little film. There are some great performance that deserve seeing.
So here we go again. This is the launch of my new website. Some of you may have noticed there were a few posts here before but they have mysteriously disappeared in the transition from the weebly site to this official one. I'm sure those posts were hugely insightful and entertaining and will be sorely missed. But as I can't remember what they were they will have to stay in the ether.
